In my Typography II class, I had the privilege of collaborating with the Free Minds Book Club, an initiative that provides incarcerated youths with an outlet to engage with writing and poetry. Given the opportunity to select a poem, I chose one that resonated deeply with me—exploring themes of pain and forgiveness. Keven's poignant words served as a poignant reminder of the significance of self-forgiveness and extending compassion to others.

Translating this emotional journey into design was a profoundly rewarding experience. Meeting the poets behind the words and conveying how their writing profoundly impacted me through creative expression was nothing short of remarkable. It reaffirmed the transformative power of art and the profound connections it can foster between individuals.
